Art:
An art suite with darkroom and pottery kiln.
Drama:
A proscenium stage with modern sound and lighting systems, video equipment and a
theatrette.
Music:
A music suite with keyboard laboratory, practice rooms and a wide range of
instruments.
Science:
Three general laboratories and specialist laboratories for Biology, Chemistry and
Physics.
Maori:
A specialist whanau room for the teaching of Maori.
ESOL:
A specialist classroom for supporting students for whom English is a second
language.
Information Technology:
Three general computer rooms and the library each with IBM compatible machines.
Programmes are in use in most subject areas. The school has a fibre-optic
network and banks of computers throughout all teaching blocks. The internet is
available on the school network.
Learning Centre:
Newly renovated suite with facilities offering learning support tuition in
one-to-one and small group situations.
Food Technology:
New facilities built in 2002 with state of the art cook tops and work stations.
Design Technology:
Two graphics rooms, a design room, engineering, electronics and wood technology
workshops.
Physical Education:
A first class gymnasium complex with courts for volleyball, basketball and
badminton, weight training room, a squash court and three dedicated teaching
rooms.
Horticulture:
A laboratory, garden plot and store, shade house and glasshouse.
Sport and Recreation:
A sports laboratory; the Rectory field for cricket; School Park with four fields
for rugby, soccer, softball and cricket. Four tennis courts and swimming pool
with a separate diving well. Easy access to community facilities including
Aorangi Park (all weather surfaces for hockey and athletics) and Community Trust
Sports Centre, Alpine Energy Stadium.

A modern resource centre; library - computerised (CD-ROM) Internet and email
facilities; minibus; many general classrooms; audio visual theatre; canteen;
