GOLF CROQUET - 2009

TBHS were winners and runners up in the Aoraki A Division Croquet Championships. The winning team was Jamie Englebrecht, Tim Harrison, Blair Mitchell and Kingsley McConnachie. Runners up were Blair Hueppauff, Sam Porter, James McFarlane and Rob Smith. We also did well in the novice division with a 5th placing.

National Golf Croquet Tournament

Nathan Boyle represented South Canterbury at the National Golf Croquet Tournament in Hamilton finishing fifth.

Aoraki Secondary Schools' Champioships

The Aoraki championships were held in Oamaru on Tuesday 8 April. TBHS retained the Aoraki Trophy for the 3rd year running with the team of Jared Keeman, Nathan Boyle, Andrew Stewart and Sean Johnson going through undefeated.

TBHS B were unlucky not to make the final, going down 8-9 to Waitaki Boys’ but comfortably won the playoff for third place.

TBHS D narrowly lost the Beginners Grade final by 1 point while TBHS C defeated TBHS E in the playoff for 5th and 6th.
