Table TENNIS - 2009

Table tennis has finished for the season. At the Monday night Secondary Schools Competition Tom Deeley came first and Josh Rooney second. Richard Simpson got through to the semi-finals, Kyle Uys and Tom McCann reached the quarter finals. Tom, Sam Kempf and Kyle were runners-up in the teams’ competition.
Dylan Hunt and Brett Clifford played in the adult section and Dylan’s team won that competition.
At the Aoraki Secondary Schools’ Competition Dylan and Brett were second and Tom and Richard third. The competition was won by Waitaki BHS.

Aoraki Secondary Schools Table Tennis Championships

TBHS again dominated the boys’ section of the Aoraki Secondary Schools Table Tennis Championships on 21 July. In the Open Boys’ section, Thomas McCann and Andrew Coyle (both Year 9) had an enthralling and narrow victory over Marcus Wills and Joshua Rooney to come first. Henry Francis came a respectable fourth.
