ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

Areas of Responsibility

The Manager:
Mr Ross Smith, is responsible for the overall management, promotion and future planning of the hostel, the discipline, welfare and social and academic progress of the boarders, and the day to day running of Thomas House.

The Residential Manager:
Mrs Paula Cross is responsible for the care and welfare of the students including sick bay and Medical fees.

The Catering Manager:
Mrs Cate Sutherland, is responsible for controlling the catering operation of the hostel, the dietary health of the boarders, menus, and any catering contracts, out-catering or hiring contracted by Thomas House Catering.

The Business Manager and Administration Secretary:
Mrs Lyn Stewart and Mrs Robin Prowse, have responsibility for the boarding fees, boarding contracts, wages, accounts and secretarial functions.

Housemasters:
The housemasters are live-in adults who help with the supervision of boarders in the evenings and the weekends.

Gap Tutors:
We are also fortunate to have the assistance of overseas Gap tutors who assist with prep.

In addition there are Catering, Domestic and Grounds Staff.
