We had 12 Year 10 Economics students from TBHS attend. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to work with other schools around the region to create innovative products which they then had to pitch to a range of well known business people from around South Canterbury.
Each group of students had to design a product, create marketing strategies, consider financing and production needs before competing to win the best pitch. There were a number of our students in each of the top three groups, and Miles Henriksen received a prize for being one of the best presenters of the afternoon. It was a great two days, with our boys being great participants and representing the school well in their behaviour and achievements.
